Agro-Industrial Technology

Department of Agro-Industrial Technology was established in 2002. Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University perceived that the leadership in administration and management of innovation and information technology are essential for the growth and prosperity of Thailand’s Industrial agro-industrial business.

The aim of the department is to produce qualified post-graduates with expertise in management of agro-industrial innovation in agricultural value chain. Graduate students enrolled in this department work collaboratively with all departments of the Faculty of Agro-Industry to link science and technology with the business focus on innovation, marketing and operations based on data discovery and analytics.

Master of Science (Agro-Industrial Innovation and Management)

Every bachelor degree graduates in related area who want to improve knowledge and skill in agro-industrial business including integration of interdisciplinary areas such as Consumer value analysis, Excellent supply chain performance, Innovation management strategy, and Data analytics to be able to deliver value solution of product as well as service that truly satisfy user needs throughout the supply chain.

 

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

  • PLO 1  Analyze and manage data to create value through market and consumer analysis. Manage operations, create innovative ideas and strategies in agri-food supply chains.
  • PLO 2  Work ethically with others with different ideas and cultures in the agro-industrial supply chain.
  • PLO 3  Evaluate problem issues or opportunities in the agro-industry.
  • PLO 4  Communicate innovative ideas or solutions verbally and in writing with effective uses of media technology.
  • PLO 5  Possess entrepreneurial skills in the agro-industry and able to cope with changes in the business environment.
  • PLO 6  Integrate knowledge to propose innovative ideas to solve problems in real situations and to create value in the agro-industrial supply chain.

  • Plan A1: Seminar 2 credits (audit), Thesis 36 credits
  • Plan A2: Core courses 12 credits, Elective courses 10 credits, Seminar 2 credits, Thesis 12 credits
  • Plan B (Special Program): Core courses 12 credits, Elective courses 16 credits, Seminar 2 credits, Independent study 6 credits

  • PLO 6  Integrate and create knowledge and innovative ideas in the field of agro-industry management to solve problems in real situations and create values in the agro-industrial supply chain.
