This research group aims to apply the knowledge of textile science and apparel in order to design and develop the new functional textile and apparel. We are also interested in the thermo-physiological comfort property and thermal comfort property of textile material and apparel product. Other interests include the computing and modeling of the performance textile particularly the comfort property for performance textile applications.
The research group’s area of work include:
– performance textile & functional apparel prototype development
– thermal comfort testing for textile & clothing
– specific equipment design for performance textile & clothing testing
– simulation & modeling for performance textile & apparel
