There are many modern laboratory equipment for research in Department of Product Development so I could do in-depth studies to discover something new as well as graduate. The courses are not only give me the necessary knowledge for work but also design to develop my soft skills, and at the same time I also participate in teacher’s project with companies so I had an advantage over other candidates in job interviews. Thanks to the knowledge and experience that I have learnt from the program, I can easily get a good job in the food industry with higher salary than average wage. Last but not least, I would like to express my thanks for all teachers and staffs as well as friends who have done for me and give me a chance to have a great experiment in Thailand.

The Ph.D. of Biotechnology that I obtained in the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University enabled me to get a position as a lecture in my current university, which is a dream job for me. Moreover, doing my Ph.D. in AI, not only improved my English skills in all aspects but also broadened my view and my mind. From 2012 to 2015, I had been trained extensively in the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Agro-Industry, accordingly in associated with an international standard/curriculum. Thanks to my supervisor Dr. Sarote Sirisansaneeyakul, my scientific thinking, experimental skills, implementation capacity, stress tolerance had been greatly improved. My research outputs are also pretty impressive. I do hope that Kasetsart University could continuously support the Faculty of Agro-Industry to carry on this international program, therefore benefit more students in the near future.

Studying in Thailand through the scholarship program paved the way and provided me the opportunity to create linkages with my professors, colleagues, senior and junior classmates, and every individual I met who is also involved and working in this same line of business. My professors are exceptional, incredible, bright, and smart. I learned a lot from them. Besides the knowledge/wisdom they shared, we were also able to establish a relationship for possible collaborations of research and projects in the future. During the conduct of my study, I was also given the chance to work with a private company in Thailand. Hence, a chance to visit big processing plants and saw the real picture of the industry.

I had developed technical skills and problem-solving skills that can be applied in the whole food supply chain. Also, communication and teamwork skills had improved. Moreover, statistical awareness and ICT skills are very useful in the preparation and production of reports.

By taking a degree in Agro-Industrial Technology Management Program (AITM), I can improve my insight, knowledge, as well as my skills which I can use to support my job for a better career. Besides that, by being a lecture, I can share the knowledge I get from AITM later for the sustainability and development of science.

As a University Teacher and Researcher, Higher studies (Master’s degree, Ph.D.) are very much essential, this program helped me to obtain my Ph.D. I like to thanks the Agro-Industry scholarships.
