Product Development

In response to the 4th National Economic and Social Development Plan, Kasetsart University was the first to launch a Product Development course in 1980 in the Faculty of Agro-Industry. The programs focus on producing graduates who would be rational and systematic-thinking so that the agro-industry would grow constructively. The idea was to serve firms engaged in food, semi-food as well as non-food industries.

 

 

 

 

 

Bachelor of Science Program in Agro-Industrial Product Development

Bachelor of Science Program in Agro-Industrial Product Development creates graduates with excellence in product development skill to meet the demand of the country in creating innovative food, semi-food, and non-food products.  With knowledge and skills in product development technology, graduates can integrate multidisciplinary related sciences with the ability to think, analyze, solve problems, and make effective decisions along with the self-esteem leadership and creativity that will serve the current and future development of the country.

Master of Science Program in Product Development and Innovation

The master program in product development and innovation aims to develop the graduates fulfilling with innovative skill that can be adaptative in the career of product development field successfully in both economical and social aspects. The curriculum also purposes to improve and enhance the competitiveness of Thai’s agro-industrial product to international achievement.

Doctor of Philosophy Program in Agro-Industrial Product Development

Thailand’s economic development policy focuses on creating innovation in order to adding value to agricultural and agro-industrial product with the ultimate goal of elevating Thai population’s income. Transform country’s economic structure driven by innovation from knowledge, creativity, and research and development. Therefore, agro-industrial product development is a crucial element that support country development.

 

Producing doctoral graduates who knowledgeable, competence, and skillful will be a driven force for development of our country through innovation deriving out of their knowledge and creation. To assist in the organization development as well as country development through development of human resources such as lecturer, researcher, research and development officer, manager, executive, and entrepreneur in the field of agro-industry or related fields for both public and private sector. The doctoral degree program in agro-industrial product development is focusing on producing doctoral graduates with advanced knowledge, high competency, academical excellent internationally, and well accepted works which contribute to innovation creation and agro-industrial product development problem-solving as well as cultivating good conscience, talented, noble, rational, social responsible mind for sustainable development of our country.
